I was the President of the Canadian Society of Dowsers from 2003 to 2006, and was named the society's "Dowser of the Year" in 2006. I work with traditional dowsing tools as well as the power of heart and thought to detect and transform earth, environmental and human energy patterns. In 2006 I wrote Bridge Matter and Spirit With Dowsing a 186 page dowsing workbook. Since then I have written other books in the Dowsing that Works series.

I came to dowsing through chronic illness. In 1982 I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and in 1991 I developed severe food sensitivities. After working my way through the standard medical tests and remedies, I found my autoimmune system was still compromised and that it was difficult to live a "normal" life. I was forced to leave my job. (I had trained and worked as a visual artist and graphic designer before, in 1979, joining Infomart, a Canadian telecommunications company, where I was responsible for developing publishing applications for prototype Internet systems. Over the years I stayed in high tech business development and research developing my skills in writing, selling, marketing and event coordination.)

The turning point for my health came when I came across a book in the library that linked health and dowsing. I read that there are natural earth energies that can make people sick. As I learned more, I came to realize that there were indeed non-beneficial energy lines running through my house, and I began the process of cleaning them up and balancing the energy systems in my body.

Over the years my health has improved, and I think the knowledge and practice of dowsing has helped me reach this point. Sharing my experience through consulting and teaching is part of my continued healing path.
