The Reason Dowsers Need to Drink Lots of Water

I have always heard that dowsers need to drink lots of water to ensure the accuracy of their answers, but until I read the following “blurb” from a local fitness studio, I didn’t know exactly why. Here’s what “Curves” has to say in their summer newsletter in the context of measuring body fat:
Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) is used to calculate weight and body fat content. Electrodes send a low, safe signal through the body. BIA measures resistance to the signal as it travels through the water that is found in muscle and fat. The more muscle a person has, the more water their body can hold. The greater amount of water in a person’s body, the easier it is for the current to pass through it. The more fat, the more resistance to current.”
So if accurate dowsing depends on our ability to pick up subtle electrical currents, as many people believe it is, then the more water we drink, the easier it will be for us to detect what we’re looking for. Even for those of us carrying a little extra around the middle after a long, hot summer
All life depends on water.
